Plum Dental has been named a 2021 Top Workplaces winner in Rhode Island in a list published by The Boston Globe. The Top Workplaces award is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

Plum Dental leaders are exceptionally honored to be among 11 organizations recognized with the award in Rhode Island this year.

Plum Dental’s legacy began over 75 years ago, in simpler days when Dr. P. Edward Capalbo first set up shop on Canal Street in downtown Westerly, RI. Dr. Capalbo’s warm, friendly approach made his dental practice a local favorite. He was joined by his two sons and three grandsons – accomplished dentists in their own right. Over the years, the practice expanded into new offices, added new services, and gave itself a new name: Plum Dental. Today, under the leadership of Dr. Ed’s grandsons, Drs. Michael, Matthew, and Marcus Capalbo, Plum Dental has over 20 thriving practices throughout Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut. Each dental office maintains its own identity and local flavor and is backed by Plum’s considerable resources and core values.
