Clinical Leadership

Plum Dental is proudly owned and operated by dentists. Our Clinical Board is designed to provide support and council to our dentists and ensure the highest level or care for our patients.

Michael Capalbo, DMD

Dr. Michael Capalbo was the first of the third generation of Capalbo dentists to follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps. Michael’s vision and commitment have been vital to the expansion of Plum Dental. Like his father and grandfather before him, “Dr. Mike’s” calming bedside manner and passion for dentistry have earned him a loyal following.

Dr. Capalbo graduated from Providence College in 2001 Magna Cum Laude and received his dental degree from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2006. He attends (and sometimes teaches) continuing education classes to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry.

He’s an avid golfer, spends spare time at Seaside Beach Club, and enjoys traveling with his family.

Stacey Rogers, DMD

Dr. Stacey Rogers was born and raised in Rhode Island. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College prior to earning her DMD from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Rogers was excited to return to Rhode Island to practice dentistry, where she has now been compassionately treating patients since 2006. She is well-versed in all phases of general dentistry and is happy to offer additional services, such as Invisalign (clear braces), Botox and fillers. As an Invisalign patient herself, she’s eager to discuss her experience and offer this treatment option to patients. While not working, Dr. Rogers enjoys traveling both near and far with her husband, Philip, and exploring the local restaurant scene with family and friends.

Diane Doyle, DMD

Dr. Diane Doyle was raised in Pittsburgh, PA where she also attended school at the University of Pittsburgh and earned her DMD degree in 1984. After working in private practice for 3 years, she went on to serve in the Navy as a general dentist for 10 years. She then followed her passion for endodontics and attended the University of Maryland where she graduated from an endodontic residency in 1997. She continued to serve as an endodontist in the Navy since then. Dr. Doyle served all over the world during her 29 years of service before returning to her familial roots in Rhode Island. Dr. Doyle is enthusiastic about ensuring that her patients receive outstanding and compassionate endodontic care in the comfort of their family dental offices.

She currently lives in Newport, RI with her husband and their two goldendoodles. Her favorite pastimes include traveling, golf and restoring older homes.
